Many myths and legends have specific places where they live giving those place a grater importance in our eyes. An example of this is mount Olympus where most of the Greek gods lived and ruled. This mountain became a holy ground in the eyes of the people that worshiped these gods even with out knowing why they would leave offering and pray to it and the gods that lived on it. This kind of worship can be seen all over the world most of the time there places of worship are mountains or caves even man made buildings. Those that worship each respective entity that lives there protect by there people and these places. Even Hero’s have their places of worship and so do some demons. The myths and legends affect our relationship the world and its importance to us.
